What the........

So on the car ride home we engaged in this conversation with Sarah about the election

Sarah: Is tomorrow when we vote

Me: yep, we'll pick you up early from school to go

Sarah: I'm voting for Senator Obama, right Mom.

Me: Sweetie you understand that only Mommy and Daddy can vote tomorrow right? You have to be 18 to vote.

Sarah: What the......

She thankfully didn't finish her thought but was disappointed to learn that all of her CNN and political debate watching was for naught. LOL

The sad thing is the poor kid will miss voting in the 2020 election by a mere 13 days.... didn't have the heart to tell her that one!
