like Christmas....... SNOW!!!!!! They have been saying for weeks now "oh tomorrow its going to snow", "we'll be having flurries overnight" and every time we don't even get enough to catch a flake on your tongue.
Well this time they were right.... it wasn't a major storm but was coming down pretty hard this morning on the drive in and it was accumulating. We broke out Sarah's snow boots for the first time and she is already dreaming of making a snowman.
Yesterday we tested out the fireplace and I have to say that gas lighting the wood was the greatest invention ever. Well personal I like the gas logs we had in texas but for those that like a real fire...dh... this was awesome! Simply turn on the gas, light and keep it on until the wood is burning well then shut it off. Easy Peasy! Now that we know it works well we will be ordering some fire wood.

Sounds like a really neat fireplace. We heat with a pellet stove, a pretty nice fire look but not nearly as nice as a fireplace. Enjoy making a "no man"...LOL as i'm sure you know that's what Faith calls them.
