Today was our first ob appt....not terribly exciting. He did pap, chlymidia test and palpated my uterus. He said my uterus was the correct size for 10wk. We talked about my nausea and he rx'd zofran to help me get through the next couple of weeks.
We discussed the hospitals he delivers at and he said he felt most confident with the quality of care we would receive at the hospital in our insurance group. Which made us feel better after the bad er visit we had. He said at my next appt in 4wks we can discuss c-sec vs vbac....he said in my case he is leaning toward c-sec but we can discuss all the options.
No heartbeat check today...we go in for a quick listen in 2wks & then will have my reg appt in 4wks. I have to go to the lab to have bloodwork and a urinalysis...love the hmo LOL... so I will probably do that tomorrow after work.
Not much else to report...off to pick up my zofran...

Yeah i guess after spending all that money at your fertility clinic your HMO just wants to make sure you really are pregnant LOL. Glad it was a boring appt. those are really the best. Bummer they didn't try for the heartbeat but they probably didn't want you to freak if they couldn't get it. Hard to believe you are 10 wks already, wow, time is flying!
